On-campus domestic applicants

Australian citizens, holders of an Australian permanent residents visa and New Zealand citizens applying for most undergraduate courses and the Graduate Diploma of Education must apply through the:

Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC)

VTAC applications are submitted using the VTAC Online Application (you will need Internet Explorer to access all VTAC pages). Applications open in August of each year for selection into the next year intake.

The VTAC application process is open to:

• Current Year 12 students (in Victoria and interstate) 
• International Baccalaureate (IB) students in Australia
• Non Year 12 applicants
• Applicants studying another Australian Year 12
• Queensland External Senior students
• Applicants studying the IB overseas
• Applicants studying a Year 12 equivalent qualification

Note that the Australian Government is phasing out domestic fee-paying places for undergraduate courses from 1 January 2009. For more information, see Type 2 places at universities in 2009 on the VTAC website.

Direct entry applicants

Some faculties allow applicants to apply for direct entry to some of their courses. Applications for the following on-campus courses must be made direct to the relevant faculty. Further information is available from:
