Selection of non current Year 12s/mature age applicants

Non-current Year 12 / mature age applications are assessed individually.

Selection is made on academic merit based on the marks and grades obtained in the entry qualifications. Applicants are placed in rank order on the basis of all their previous academic records (ie. ENTER where applicable, plus assessable post-secondary studies) and other factors relevant to the particular course, such as work experience (Recognition of Prior Learning), art folio, interview etc.

For more information on course prerequisites and selection criteria see the Victorian Tertiary Admissons Centre VTAC Guide and the Monash Course Finder.

Note: Postgraduate education courses give greater weighting to post secondary studies in selection. For details see the Faculty of Education's  Prerequisite and Selection Policy.
