The Business and Resources Department is responsible for managing the corporate services functions of the Advancement portfolio, including HR management, staff liaison, budgets and financial management, IT management, and facilities management.

The Business and Resources department is responsible for managing the Advancement portfolio's business and database systems, including the Advance database system, My.Advancement, EBMS, and the Marketing and Student Recruitment CRM. This Unit also coordinates IT and communication support portfolio-wide.

Other major projects coordinated by this Department include the Integrated Collaboration Environment (ICE) and the relocation of the portfolio from Clayton Campus to Building H and 871 Dandenong Road, Caulfield.
