The International Recruitment Services (IRS) Unit is responsible for the admission of all international students onto Victorian campuses. It is also responsible for the admission of all students, offshore and onshore, into Monash College and the Monash University English Language Centre in Victoria.
The Unit has five teams: Administration, Assessment, Client Services, Systems and Business Operations and Quality and Training.
Administration
Responsible for any fee-related duties in International Recruitment Services including management of the collection of fee deposits from commencing students. This team is also responsible for paying all commission to agents and for maintaining the CRICOS register.
Assessment
Responsible for assessment of all applications, liaison with faculties and issuing of all communication to students.
Client Services
Responsible for managing all inbound enquiries from students and agents regarding applications -- email, telephone and face-to-face. This team also contains an Outbound Contact Centre that maintains phone and email contact with students as they progress through the application process.
Systems and Business Operations
Responsible for all data collection and entry into ADMS and Callista. The team also provides reporting on application status and incoming student numbers to the Marketing and Student Recruitment Division, faculties and agents.
Quality and Training
Responsible for overseeing academic qualifications research, approvals and staff training.
