Ethics approvalAny research project conducted at Monash University involving human subjects must be approved by the Standing Committee on Ethics in Research on Humans (SCERH.) In order to have a notice in Monash Memo seeking participants for a research study, the media office needs to be made aware of this approval through the ethics approval number. This way we know your project is valid and has the endorsement of the University. Once this is provided we can publish the notice for a period of three weeks. For further information on the Ethics Approval Process for research involving human participants see the Human Ethics website. |
