Student Recruitment Network

The Monash Student Recruitment Network was formed in 2001 and is made up of both faculty and central staff who have major responsibilities in recruitment of domestic students.

Purpose

  • Provide a comprehensive overview of all activities in schools and provide an opportunity for interaction and exchange of ideas;
  • Establish and implement guidelines about best practice in student recruitment
  • Ensure that we are working cohesively towards the same goals and identify areas where resource usage could be more efficient; Discuss forthcoming events to ensure their success
  • Strengthen relationships between the Prospective Students Office and faculties while concurrently strengthening relationships between different faculties
  • Provide a forum for feedback about Prospective Students Office services and activities.

Membership

Relevant staff from the following areas have been invited to join:

  • Faculty marketing and recruitment staff
  • Monash International recruitment and marketing staff
  • University Marketing and Public Affairs Office
  • Student Admissions and Records
  • Prospective Students Office
  • Campus Directors Offices

Meetings

Meetings will be held on an as-needed basis, usually about three to four times per year. Agenda times can be suggested and there will be time at the end of each meeting for informal networking and feedback. Members can choose to attend meetings based on the specific agenda and its correlation to their work.
