Live Streaming

Video Production broadcasts university seminars and events via the internet. The broadcasts can be watched via a web browser with a quicktime plug-in, the Quicktime (iTunes) player, or by using the program VLC.

The links below take you to the viewing page, and each page is optimised for the location you are viewing the files from.

• Monash Only No VPN
• External / Fast Broadband / Wireless
• ADSL broadband (256kbits/sec)

Monash based staff on the Monash LAN should use the Monash Only option as it does not excessively load the network infrastructure. The other alternatives are provided for users who are not on the Monash internal LAN, or are connecting via a VPN (Monash Wireless Net) or Monash Connect

Please note that some visual artefacts or delay may occasionally be seen in any live net broadcast, e.g. if there is network congestion or bandwidth is limited {ADSL}
