Audit Report Management System

The Audit Report Management System (ARMS) has been developed by Audit & Risk Management Office.

The purpose of the system is to automate the link between Audit Reports and the work papers that support the recommendations.

Audit Programs and work papers are created electronically. If an Audit Program step has an adverse finding an Exception is created. Recording the details of the finding is also on-line and can then be used to generate a Preliminary Report. In this way the audit documentation process is made more efficient.

As a by-product the amount of hard-copy work papers is reduced and can more easily be made available for review.

It is also possible to incorporate scanning of non-Office documents into the electronic work paper file.
