MonQueST Summary Profiles
MonQueST teaching evaluation performance data is provided to individual teachers who may then present this information to promotions committees. Such information should be representative of the breadth of teaching undertaken and time-series data can be used to demonstrate the success of teaching improvement initiatives. MonQueST Summary Profiles are available to help guide interpretation of individual results. Summary Profiles are calculated over a 5-year period (to avoid yearly fluctuations) and are available for the whole university and for each faculty.
Summary Profiles for the most commonly used forms for MonQueST (Lecturing and Tutoring) are updated yearly (the latest available data is always a year previous to the current promotion round) whereas small numbers mean that the updating of Summary Profiles for other MonQueST questionnaires is less frequent.
While each item of a MonQueST questionnaire provides valuable information, it is recommended that at least certain items be considered with regard to each MonQueST evaluation instrument. A list of recommended items can be found on the MonQueST Profile pages of each MonQueST Questionnaire below:
