Failing a Unit

Reality Check

Many students fail at least one unit over the course of their degree

Reflect

Do you know why you failed?
Think about what got in the way of your reaching your expected results

Consider university study issues   Problems external to university
  • Is this unit a specific challenge for you?
  • Can you improve your study techniques?
  • Have you lost motivation?
  • Are you managing your time?
  • Have you been treated equally in your studies?

  • Are your personal problems affecting your studies?
  • Health Issues?
  • Financial difficulties?
  • Disability? Physical, learning or psychiatric?
  • Do you need to improve your language skills?
