About Chaplaincy on Caulfield CampusAlong with other areas of life-experience, people routinely review their beliefs, faith issues and spiritual experience in the transition from school to university and from university into their career pathways and long-term relationships. Beliefs are linked to common areas of personal development, including family and friendship networks; beliefs and values; sexuality, intimacy and partnership; study and career pathways; loss, grief and bereavements. Chaplains can assist here as 'sounding boards' and mentors in a friendly and supportive way. They liaise regularly with the many spiritual groups/clubs on campus. Services provided by the Chaplains include regular opportunities for worship and meditation, pastoral counselling for spiritual, religious and personal issues; research, lectures/workshops and weekly study groups on Scripture, faith reflection and personal growth. Chaplains can help put you in touch with you own spirituality, and if you want, with a church or other faith community.
