Gippsland Student Groups

If you are interested in peer support, meeting others, sharing faith or socialising, there are two groups on campus that are associated with the Chaplaincy Office: a Christian group, SHINE and a Muslim group, Monash University Islamic Society Gippsland.

The Islamic Society has a worship and prayer service in the Spiritual Centre from 1PM each Friday. Please contact Eddir Kahir on (03) 5122-6552 for further information.

Neither group is restricted to people of a particular denomination or tradition but both are open to anyone on campus who has an interest in being with people of other faiths and traditions.

Please come see the Campus Chaplain if you are interested in either group or would like to start up a new group.
