Local Churches

Chaplaincy at Gippsland works closely with the local church community in the Latrobe Valley. Many people of the churches are willing to befriend, assist and share socially and spiritually with students and staff on campus. From time to time, services will be held on campus (see activities and announcements on the Notice Board outside the Chaplain's Office 3N110). Religious Traditions

There are no formal organisations or services in the region but various cultural groups do include religious activities and festivals as part of their general activities. The Gippsland Migrant Resource Centre, located in Morwell on Buckley Street, telephone (03) 5133-7072 is the central contact for people of Buddhist, Hindu and Islamic faiths in the region.
