Monash Children's Centre Co-op Ltd

The centre is located at 62 Beddoe Avenue Clayton with direct access from the University via the western car park.

The centre is open 49 weeks per year, Monday to Friday 7:30AM - 6:15PM and caters for children aged three months to school age. It is a hundred place centre primarily for children of University students, staff with any residual places being made available to the wider community.

A kindergarten program is available for four year olds. Permanent full-time or part-time is available. Sessional and hourly care may be available and casual bookings are catered for where possible.

The centre is purpose-built (with funding provided by the University), providing seven rooms with five landscaped playgrounds. A cooked lunch is provided and special dietary needs catered for. The service is fully accredited.

The Child Care Benefit is available to eligible families. Salary packaging is available for staff of the University.

The centre is a not for profit service with a voluntary parent Committee of Management, so parents have direct input into their policies.

Monash Community Family Co-op

Monash Community Family Co-operative provides care and educational programs based on individual development and need for children aged 12 weeks to school age. The 4-5 year old program is a funded kindergarten program.

The program, carried out by experienced qualified staff, offers an extensive natural outdoor playing areas to compliment the program. We also run special music sessions during school term time for the over 2 year olds.

Monash Community Family Co-operative supports inclusion of children from diverse backgrounds and those with additional needs/disability. We assist parents access support services to ensure an inclusive environment for their child's care.

The Centre is a not for profit service with a voluntary parent Committee of Management, so parents have direct input into their policies.

Bookings are taken for permanent full time or part time daily places. Additional part time hours are available on a casual basis, if vacancies exist. The Centre is open on all days the University opens, closing for approximately a week over the Christmas to New Year break. Enrolments are taken throughout the year.

The Child Care Benefit is available to eligible families. Salary packaging is available for staff of the University.

Fees depend on eligibility for Child Care Benefit, and include nappies, meals and music program for over 2 year old children.

Students With Children Child Care Centre (SWiCh)

The centre is located at Building 51, Monash University, Clayton and open Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM. The centre caters for 20 children, 2 months to five years and for full day or half day places. The Child Care Benefit is available to eligible families with enrolments taken throughout the year. SWiCh offers its clients the option of up to ten weeks of holidays where no fee is charged. The centre has reached the highest standard of accreditation.
