Koonawarra Playgroup
The Koonawarra Playgroup has been established to assist the students and staff of Monash University with developing networks within the local community, as well as providing an opportunity for social interaction, English conversation support and cultural exchange.

Playgroups are designed to offer:
- parents/carers and their children with an opportunity to meet together regularly.
- a relaxed setting for children from birth to school age as they learn through play and interaction with other children and adults.
- parents and carers an opportunity to share ideas and information in a supportive environment.
- community networks to assist in creating a sense of cooperation among local families.
