Parenting and Family IssuesThe Family and Child Care Service provides information and referral to community run parenting programs. The Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) coordinated by the Parenting Research Centre aims to promote positive parenting practices in the community and enhance the health, development and emotional wellbeing of children. Triple P offers parents strategies for building positive relationships with their pre-adolescent children teaching children new skills and promoting the development of social competence. The Monash University Counselling Service provides a professional and confidential psychological counselling service to students and staff.
