Community Services at Monash South Africa

Welcome to Monash South Africa

To assist you in your stay at Monash we offer a variety of support services for all students and staff of Monash South Africa. The Community Services Branch is part of the Student and Staff Services Division, which provides administrative support services to students and staff.

Community Services contributes to Monash's goals by providing support and advice to students and staff on emotional, psychological, health, financial, accommodation, religious/ spiritual, educational, child care and physical problems in order to enhance their academic performance and the South Africa community life.

The services provided under Community Services include Counseling, Family Advisory (vacation care and child care), Housing, Sports and Recreation, Chaplaincy, Financial aid, Career Advice, Health and Disability Liaison. Students and staff are welcome to utilize any of these services offered on campus. Services are provided by Monash and are free, however, a fee is levied for some other services, such as career guidance and personality testing offered by external professionals. Students and staff wishing to use any of these services may be asked to produce their student/staff I.D. card.
