Fees

Unit Fees

Any fees for the unit are charged by and paid to the host institution at which the unit is taught.

Domestic Full-Fee Students

If you are a domestic full-fee student at Monash it does not preclude the host institution from giving you a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) if they choose to do so and have a CSP available. If you are granted a CSP at the host institution then you will also need to complete a 'Request for Commonwealth Support and HECS-HELP' form at the host institution. If you are granted a domestic full-fee place at the host institution, and you want to use FEE-HELP, then you will need to complete a 'Request for FEE-HELP assistance' at the host institution even if you have already completed the same form at your home institution.

Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) Students

If you are a CSP at Monash it does not guarantee that the host institution will give you a CSP. If you are granted a CSP at the host institution then you will also need to complete a 'Request for Commonwealth Support and HECS-HELP' form at the host institution even if you have already completed the same form at your home institution (ie. Monash). If you are granted a domestic full-fee place at the host institution you may want to considering using FEE-HELP to help finance these studies.

Unit Results

Upon completion of the unit at the host institution you must request a formal academic transcript from them and supply it to your home faculty at Monash so that any due credit can be awarded. Your credit will appear on your Monash University transcript as 'complementary unit satisfactory', 'credit' or 'exemption'.
