Course Invalidation/Cancellation by the University

A students enrolment in a course can be invalidated/cancelled for a number of reasons including, but not limited to:

• Unsatisfactory Academic Progress (University Statute 6.2)
• Academic and General Misconduct  (University Statute 4.1)
• Non-payment of Tuition Fee
• Non-payment of Student Contribution Amount (Higher Education Support Act 2003)
• Non-completion of the Enrolment Questionnaire, or
• Non-completion of a ‘Request for Commonwealth Support or HECS-HELP’ form (CSP students only) (Higher Education Support Act 2003)
• Health Reasons  (University Statute 6.3)

The process involved for the University to consider a request for ‘re-instatement’ of enrolment after invalidation or cancellation, and the process involved, will vary depending on the reason for the course invalidation/cancellation
