78. Motorcycle and Bicycle Allowance (applicable to General staff only)
78.1 Where a staff member is authorised by the University to use the staff member's privately owned or hired motorcycle or bicycle for official purposes (including authorised travel between campuses), he/she shall be paid an allowance of the following amounts or such greater amounts as the University determines:
- in the case of a motorcycle, at the rate of 27.5c per kilometre;
- in the case of a bicycle at the rate of $1.10 per day or part thereof in which the bicycle is used.
