Part 3 - Conditions applying to catering and retail staff

Section 12 - Tea Attendants

  1. Span of Hours for Tea Attendants
  2. Rest Pause for Tea Attendants

This Part shall apply to all trades and services staff engaged in catering and/or retail services (including Tea Attendants) but does not extend to Sports Control Desk staff employed within the Sports and Recreation Centre on Clayton Campus.

103. SPAN OF HOURS FOR TEA ATTENDANTS

The span of ordinary hours of work for Tea Attendants is 6.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

104. REST PAUSE FOR TEA ATTENDANTS

Every Tea Attendant shall be granted one ten-minute rest pause to be counted as time worked and allowed between the time of commencing work and the usual meal interval.
