Part 4 - Conditions applying to cleaning and caretaking staff

Section 4 - Leave of Absence and Holidays

  1. Payment of Long Service Leave for Monash Unicomm Staff
  2. Payment of Sick Leave for Monash Unicomm Staff

This Part shall apply to trades and services staff engaged in cleaning and/or caretaking, including Building Attendants/Stewards of Monash Unicomm.

117. PAYMENT OF LONG SERVICE LEAVE FOR MONASH UNICOMM STAFF

Staff shall be entitled to long service leave in accordance with clause 51 provided that payment shall be on the basis of the staff member's ordinary time earnings, excluding any part-time or other loadings.

118. PAYMENT OF SICK LEAVE FOR MONASH UNICOMM STAFF

Staff shall be paid sick leave on the basis of their ordinary time earnings, but to the exclusion of any part-time loadings otherwise payable.
