Conditions applying to building and metal trades staff

This part applies to the following categories of trades and services staff: Carpenters, Electricians, Fitters, Oiler/Greasers, Painters, Plant Attendants, Plumbers, Store Attendants (as defined under clause 3); and Trade Assistants

Section 5 - Miscellaneous Items

87. Washing Time

87.1 Each staff member shall be allowed five minutes prior to the lunch interval and immediately prior to the time of ceasing work for the day in order to clean up and wash.

87.2 Each staff member shall be allowed two minutes washing time prior to the morning tea break.
