Administrative Heads Group Meeting 1-1998

Meeting 1/98 of the Administrative Heads Group will be held at 8.30 am on Thursday 5 February 1998 in the Council Room, First Floor, University Offices, Building 3a, Clayton Campus.

Members having a direct commercial or financial interest in any item before this meeting must declare that interest to the Chair via the Committee secretary prior to consideration of the item, and must not take part in a vote on any matter concerning it.

The minutes of meeting 4/97 have been circulated.

3. Vice-Chancellor’s welcome

The Vice-Chancellor will seek the views of members regarding agenda items that could be raised and/or discussed at future meetings.

4. Undergraduate intake - first round selection

Mr Clive Vernon, Manager - Student Admissions and Records will be in attendance to introduce this item and respond to questions.

A document introducing the matter is attached to the Agenda (reference ADM1/98).

5. The possible effects of the Asian currency devaluation on fee paying International Students numbers

Professor Maloney, Deputy Vice-Chancellor - International and Public Affairs, will be in attendance to introduce this item and respond to questions.

6. Next meeting

The next Administrative Heads Group meeting will be held on Thursday, 16 April 1998 in the Council Room.
