Administrative Heads Group

Terms of Reference

  1. The Administrative Heads Group consists of:
    • Members of the Vice-Chancellor's Group (VCG).
    • Directors of service and administrative divisions.
    • Senior Faculty Managers
    • Representatives of Heads of Schools/Departments.
        
  3. The Group provides an assembly for regular dissemination of information, cross-University consultation and provision of advice to the University's senior management on matters of strategic and operational substance.
      
  4. The Group is to be distinguished from the Senior Management Committee, which is a high level forum for considering and deciding on issues and proposals of major significance to the the University.
     
  5. Members of the Group are responsible for:
    • Advising relevant members of staff in their operational areas about the matters discussed at meetings.
    • Actively contributing to Group discussion and consultation.
        
  6. The Group will meet at least on a quarterly basis.
