Professor Williams has submitted the attached paper for the
(D16/91) Committee's consideration which was deferred at the previous
meeting.
54. Sir Hayden Starke Chair of Law
Professor Williams has submitted the attached proposal (D17/91) to
fill the vacant Sir Hayden Starke Chair of Law for the Committee's approval
and transmission to the Academic Board. This matter was deferred at the
previous meeting of the Committee of Deans.
55. Establishment of Chair of Hospital and Community Psychiatry,
Alfred Hospital
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine will speak to the D20/91 attached
paper which was deferred at the last meeting.
56. Chair in Chemical Engineering
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering has submitted D21/91 the
attached proposal for the filling of the Chair in Chemical Engineering
for the Committee's consideration.
57. Staff Development for Senior Academics
Professor Rae has submitted the attached paper for the (D19/91)
Committee's consideration, which was deferred at the last meeting.
58. Monash Departmental Scholarships and Monash Research Scholarships
Professor Hay has submitted the attached proposal from D22/91
Professor A.J. Duggan, Chairman PhD and Research (Scholarships) Committee.
59. Training Guarantee Act
Professor Hay has submitted the attached proposal D23/91
concerning the inter-relationship of the Training Guarantee Act and Outside
Studies Programme.
60. Semesters
Professor Hay has submitted the attached paper D24/91 concerning
semester arrangements.
61. Responsibility of Individual Officers of the University with
respect to Compliance with OHS Legislation
Professor Vaughan has submitted the attached paper and D25/91
attachments for the Committee's consideration.
