The attached memorandum for the Committee's D47/91 consideration has

88. Committee to Review the Policy Structure and Administration of
Research at Monash
At the Council meeting held on 1 July 1991 a recommendation that an ad
hoc committee of the Academic Board be established to review the policy
structure and administration of research at the University was endorsed. The
Committee of Deans is requested to nominate a member to this Committee.
89. Dates for 1992 Graduation Ceremonies and Review of Graduation
Ceremonies Generally
The Registrar has submitted the attached document for D48/91 the
consideration of the Committee of Deans.
90. Monash University Visiting Professors
The Registrar has submitted the attached document for D49/91 the
consideration of the Committee of Deans.
91. Promoting Non-Award Study
The Registrar has submitted the attached document for D50/91 the
consideration of the Committee of Deans.
92. Chair in Pulp and Paper Technology
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering has submitted D51/91 the attached
proposal for the filling of a Chair in Pulp and Paper Technology.
93. Honorary Appointments - General Staff Related
The attached document has been submitted by Professor D52/91 Vaughan for
the consideration of the Committee of Deans.
94. Review of the Key Centres of Teaching and Research Programs
The attached document has been submitted by Professor D53/91 Vaughan for
the consideration of the Committee of Deans.
95. Work of the Committee of Deans
At the previous meeting of the Committee of Deans a D54/91 memorandum was
received from Professor Williams (D36/91). The Committee agreed to request
Professor Williams to prepare a position paper for a future meeting. A paper
is attached.
96. Capital Works Submission for 1994
The attached document has been submitted by the D55/91 Comptroller for
the consideration of the Committee of Deans.
97. Review of Faculty Administrative Offices - Interim Statement
The attached document has been submitted by the D56/91 Registrar for the
consideration of the Committee of Deans.
