10.1 Amendment to
Statute 6.2 - Exclusion for Unsatisfactory Progress |
|
|
At Academic Board Meeting
2/94, the report of the Exclusion Appeals Review Committee established
by the Board in October 1993 was received and noted and its
recommendations approved. The report and its recommendations were noted
by Council on 11 April 1994, in advance of the drafting of appropriate
legislation. The University Solicitor has now prepared draft legislation
to implement the approved recommendations. As is normal practice, the
draft legislation was tabled at Academic Board Meeting 8/95 held on 22
November 1995. The draft Statute was approved subject to scrutiny by the
Committee of Deans to ensure that it related directly to the approved
recommendations. The draft legislation is attached, along with the
original report approved by the Academic Board. The Committee should
note that the procedures recommended by the Review Committee were fully
implemented for the round of Exclusion Appeals held at the beginning of
