Meeting 2/99 of the Deans Discussion Group will be held
at 4.00 pm on Tuesday, 4 May 1999 in the Monash City Office, Level 11,
30 Collins Street, Melbourne. Dinner will be served at 6.00 pm.
Members having a direct commercial or financial interest
in any item before this meeting must declare that interest to the Chair
via the Committee Secretary prior to consideration of the item, and must
not take part in a vote on any matter concerning it.

3. The Monash Plan 2000-2004: Monash 2020
At the special meeting of Deans held 23rd
April, Deans were advised that Professor Merran Evans would email to
them for discussion at the Deans Discussion Group meeting of 4th
May any contributions to the three planning issues: Monash 2020, the
role of each campus, and the role of each faculty.
(In addition, Professor Jim Warren, Pro-Vice-Chancellor,
has forwarded a paper raising matters concerning the Sunway Campus for
discussion at this meeting. A paper is attached (Attachment 2).)
4. Next Meeting
The next ordinary meeting of the Committee of Deans will
be held at 2.15pm on Tuesday 25 May 1999 in the Sir George Lush Room.
The next meeting of the Deans Discussion Group will be
held at 4.00pm on Tuesday 15 June 1999 in the City Office.
