Scholarships Committee

Background

At its Meeting 7/1999, the Academic Board received and noted the Final Report of the Scholarships Review Committee, dated August 1999.

The Review recommended maintenance of the present division of administration of scholarships.  However, it recognised the need to coordinate policies and procedures and a recommendation was made that there should be a standing committee of Academic Board for this purpose.  The final membership and terms of reference of the Scholarships Committee, as approved by the Academic Board at its Meetings 1/2001 and 3/2001, were based on the Review recommendations.
