Learning, Teaching and Quality Committee (LTQC)

A Sub-Committee of the Education Committee

Contribute to the development, review, monitoring and implementation of the University's Education Plan 2006-10 with respect to the areas of learning, teaching, quality assurance and improvement.
Liaise with the Education Policy and Programs Committee to advise Education Committee on policies, procedures and guidelines with significance for learning, teaching, quality assurance and improvement.
Advise Education Committee on educational quality assurance and improvement, including data on unit evaluations, student performance, progression, attrition, academic experience and graduate outcomes, within faculties and across faculties, disciplines and campuses.
Advise Education Committee on how to respond to external reports and initiatives where these concern learning and teaching.
Develop discussion papers and proposals concerning the development of learning and teaching for the consideration of Education Committee.
Consider and report on any matter referred to it by Education Committee or the deputy vice-chancellor with responsibility for the education portfolio.
