University Council Meeting 3/93
Meeting No. 3/93 of the Monash University Council will be held at 5.00 pm
on Monday, 17 May 1993, in the Council Room, University Offices, at the
Clayton campus.

* 1. Apologies
have been received from Senator Patterson, Dr Ward, and Mr Whyte, each of
whom has special leave, and from Professor Logan, who will be overseas.
2. No requests for Special Leave have been received to date.
* 3. Membership
It is anticipated that Mr Geoffrey Spring will be attending his
first meeting of Council since being appointed on 29 March in succession to
Ms M.M. Sussex as the nominee of the Minister for Tertiary Education and
Training.
* 4. Approval of Non-Starred Items
Members who wish a non-starred item to be discussed may so request at
this point, after which the Chancellor will move `that all items on the
agenda not starred be adopted without discussion, and the action recommended
be taken or the information therein noted'.
* 5. Minutes
| The minutes of Meeting No. 2/93 held on 5 April, have been
circulated. |

Authorised observers will be admitted to the meeting following
confirmation of the minutes and consideration of any items deemed
confidential.
