RECOMMENDATION
That Council confirm the Minutes of meeting No 8/2001
held on Monday, 17 December 2001.
3. Vice-Chancellor’s Business: Council meetings 01/2002 to 08/2002
The Vice-Chancellor will present the topic. A paper is
attached.
RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the schedule of Vice-Chancellor’s
Business for Council meetings during 2002.
4. Sustainability Reporting
The Vice-Chancellor will present the topic. Professor
Chris Cocklin, Professor and Director, Monash Environment Institute,
will be in attendance. A paper is attached.
RECOMMENDATION
That Council receive and discuss the scoping study and
the implementation proposal.
5. University Self-Review: key themes
The Vice-Chancellor will present the topic. Mr David
Phillips, Special Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor and President and
Professor Graham Webb, Director, Centre for Higher Education Quality
will be in attendance. A paper is attached.
RECOMMENDATION
That Council note and discuss the key themes which are
emerging from the University Self-Review.
6. Senior Appointments
6.1 Acceptance of Offers
RECOMMENDATION
That Council note acceptance of offers of appointment as
detailed in the document presented.
7. Next Meeting
The next meeting of Council is scheduled to be held at
5.00 pm on Monday, 18 March 2002 at the Berwick Campus.
Refreshments and Dinner – Meeting 1/2002
After the meeting, drinks together with light
refreshments and dinner will be served at Monash House for those members
who have notified Marijana Gec on 9905-2007 by 12 noon, on Wednesday, 6
February 2002.
