Finance roles within the University have been devolved to the faculties and divisions, these staff are supported by seven central finance divisions reporting to the Vice President (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer, David Pitt.

- Undertakes business review and strategic analysis of financial operations
- Conducts business analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational performance improvement and efficiencies
- Facilitates decision making across the University

- Supports and maintains the SAP finance system and other finance-based business systems
- Identifies and manages financial system enhancements and process improvements
- Develops and implements change management strategies and communication plans

- Provides advice on the accounting treatment, tax implications and financial result impacts of complex business proposals/transactions
