Academic Promotions Case Studies

During the 2006 academic promotions process, the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor requested that academic promotions committees prepare case studies for the purpose of providing guidance to prospective candidates and assisting committees when assessing and considering future academic promotions applications. The particular group identified for the case studies were successfully promoted candidates who allocated a weighting of greater than 30 per cent to teaching or research.
