Procedure Update: Outside Studies Program

Academic staff should note that there have been a number of changes to the Outside Studies Program (OSP) procedure. There are two key changes of relevance to staff preparing an application for OSP, specifically that: eligibility rules now place a stronger emphasis on Research activities; and allowable criterion for OSP can include completion of a PhD where it results in either completion or substantial completion of the course of study. Updated Procedure Alternatively, you can access this and other recently updated Staff Development procedures via Workplace Policies and Procedures.

The Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Exceptional Performance by Professional Staff

The Vice-Chancellor offers annual awards in recognition of exceptional performance by members of professional staff which are equivalent to the Vice-Chancellor's awards for distinguished teaching. A total amount of around $20,000 will be distributed amongst recipients of the awards, with individual amounts being determined by the selection committee. bHR Division Client Satisfaction - Survey Report/bbrbrThe HR Division Client Satisfaction Survey was launched on Monday 16 March 2009 and was open for two weeks. An invitation to participate in the survey was made to all Monash University?s staff in Victoria via a global email. Special invitations were made to the HR community in the Faculties/Divisions/Units and all staff of the HR Division.
