Agreements prepared by an external party

An agreement prepared by another party must never be signed until it has been reviewed and approved by the University Solicitor's Office. A solicitor may advise that certain clauses be re-negotiated for example, those dealing with intellectual property ownership or indemnities. Once the document has been approved, the solicitor will attach an approval sheet and forward it to the appropriate person for signing.
