The Australian campuses of the Monash University were certified to the AS/NZS 4801:2001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems - specifications with guidance for use in July 2006. The registration covers the occupational health and safety management system at the Australian campuses of Monash University and for Monash controlled entities covering the tertiary education teaching, research and administrative activities, and the activities required to maintain the facilities and services necessary for these activities.
