New & Modified OHS Documents

At the September 2009 meeting of the university's Occupational Health and Safety Policy Committee, the following documents were endorsed for implementation:-

• Procedures for Immunisation
• Cercopethicine Herpesvirus 1 (B Virus) exposure Procedures
• Immunisation Grid
• Ionising Radiation Sources: Purchase And Licensing Procedures

In addition, the following documents are now available, some of which may be relevant to your work area:

• Laser Safety information sheet
• Occupational Noise Exposure and Control information sheet
• The use of Audio Headphone/Earphones/Earbuds in the Workplace information sheet
• Support for Staff & Students with Occupational Health and Safety Functions information sheet
