SARSThe Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing is continuing contact with the World Health Organisation (WHO) who are coordinating the global response to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The Australian government is acting on many fronts to ensure Australia's preparedness. SARS has affected many countries since 2003, but there have not been any new cases since early 2004.
