First Aid Level 2 - Senior First Aid (Mixed Mode)
Overview
This course, will give participants the opportunity to attain a First Aid Level 2 certificate by completing day 1 online and day 2 as a practical day, as per the dates as listed below.
After completion of this course, participants should be able to carry out emergency first aid procedures in the first few minutes of a life-threatening incident and able to carry out level 2 emergency first aid procedures.
- Day 1 - Online training will cover the theory component of Level 2 first aid and should take no more than 6 hours. (There is an opportunity to save your online assessment and revisit it at a later time).
- Day 2 - Practical day of training will cover all the practical skills of Level 2 first aid.
Participants will be required to complete an examination at the end of the practical day of the course.
If you wish to enrol in the above online/practical training, please follow the steps below:-
- Decide on the date you want to do the practical training (choose a date from the list below).
- Submit this enrolment to Occupational Health & Safety by choosing “Apply Now”.
- Your enrolment must be submitted no less that 10 working days prior to commencement of your practical day of training. Once received, Occupational Health & Safety, will forward your application directly to Parasol EMT (our first aid training provider).
- You will then receive an email from Parasol approximately 5-8 working days prior to the commencement of your practical day of training. This email will give you access and instructions on how to complete your online component of the training.
- You will need to complete the online training session no less that 2 days before the commencement of the practical day of training.
Please note that all first aiders are required to renew their First Aid certificate every three years.
