Workplace Safety Inspections

Overview

The purpose of this course is to provide the participants with the skills to undertake effective safety inspections. The course covers the proactive identification of hazards and the development of appropriate corrective actions for the major workplace environments at Monash. This includes the office, laboratory, workshop and studio environments. In a practical component, participants will be able to undertake safety inspections using simple techniques and tools and present their finding back to the group.
