What is boxed software? 

Non site licensed software. Also known as shrink wrapped or off the shelf software. May be single user or multiple user license. 

How do I purchase boxed software?

The majority of boxed software purchases are through two key suppliers. These suppliers are EdSoft and City Software. Where the Endorsed Suppliers cannot provide specialist software then this can still be sourced from the most appropriate outlet.

How do I buy boxed software?

• Check the IT Services intranet site for list of existing software site licences
  http://www.its.monash.edu.au/staff/software/catalogue/index.html
• If site licence exists, contact the site licence manager as detailed on the intranet site
• If site licence does not exist, contact Endorsed Suppliers see below.
• If Endorsed Supplier cannot fulfil requirement, contact Monash Procurement on x56030
