Gases (Industrial)

Monash has a supply agreement with Linde Gas Pty. Ltd for the supply of industrial gases and liquid nitrogen to all University campuses. The current contract commenced in May 2005 and is for three years. 

How to purchase gases?

• Purchasing staff should access the contract with Linde by raising an off-take order against the agreement (Agreement Number 46000005 in SAP) when ordering gases
• Gases not on the outline agreement can be ordered against Material Codes 10000226 (Industrial Gases) or 10000450 (Medical Gases). For all non-listed gases, special gases and gas mixtures, Monash receives a 10% discount against standard prices.
• Each University budgetary unit that deals with Linde Gas will be assigned a unique customer number which is linked to the University's contract prices.
