Travel Request

The first phase of the project will introduce the ability for travellers and travel bookers to create online travel requests.

During the Travel Request process, you’ll be able to:

• Create an online travel request, either for yourself or on behalf of another traveller, which will workflow to your travel approver using a one-step or two-step approval process, depending on the structure of your department.
• Display a travel request and generate a Business Travel Diary
• Create a travel commitment
• Apply for a cash advance
• Generate an Insurance Confirmation Certificate.

Status: The Travel Request phase of the project is currently being piloted with the Faculty of Business & Economics. Once our pilot has been completed and evaluated, we'll apply the lessons we've learned to implement the system within other faculties and divisions - it is intended that implementation should be completed for this stage of the project by the end of 2009.
