Vehicle Fleet - Employee Closed Tender ProcessMonash staff excluding staff in Strategic Procurement can purchase used vehicles from the Monash Fleet. ManheimFowles (automotive auctioneer) value the vehicle(s) as they become available and place a market related, undisclosed reserve price on the vehicle(s). Monash staff then bid on these vehicle(s) via a process as administered by ManhiemFowles. The list of available vehicles is updated every Monday. Staff will have the opportunity to view the vehicles on the Tuesday and then enter their valid bids prior to 3pm Wednesday of the same week. Locations of Transport Compounds: Clayton – Next to building 56 (Campus Map B3) Gippsland - C2 Carpark (Campus Map C3) In order to register a valid bid two documents must be downloaded, completed as required, scanned to pdf and emailed to two email addresses: mast@fowles.com.au and Kylie.McDonald@adm.monash.edu.au
If the reserve price is not met during the closed tender process, the vehicle will be auctioned to the general public at the preset reserve price. Bidders are urged to enter their maximum bids and not the minimal amounts as there are no second chances for bidding on the vehicles. PLEASE NOTE: Vehicles shown this week are not auctioned till the week after. Bidders to allow 2-3 working days to be notified of their tender outcomes.
