A fully accredited team

The university Health Service at Monash has recently become the first university health service and one of the first general practices in Australia to achieve National Accreditation.

According to Community Services manager Mr Robin Coventry, the accreditation reflects the dedication, skills and high standards of the Health Service team.

To achieve accreditation, the Health Service had to meet an agreed set of national standards that govern general medical practice and to demonstrate that they have in place a mechanism of continual assessment.

Some members of the Health Service team, from left, enquiries officer Ms Cristina Lopez, medical officer Dr Vin Griffith, medical officer Dr Elisabeth Nash, campus nurse Ms Lynda Osman, Health Service head Dr Craig Blandy, enquiries officer Mrs Gillian Goldsmith and secretary Ms Annette James.
