  • Fossil Fest 2000

The Monash Science Centre will be running a series of fossil field trips during September.

Dates and activities for Fossil Fest 2000 are:

  • 19 September - looking for microfossils at Mornington;
  • 20 September - looking for dinosaur remains at Inverloch;
  • 21 September - searching through the Ordovician for graptolites.

The centre will also be running a school holiday program for children, from 25 to 29 September, with daily sessions of science-based activities such as 'Wild and wonderful weather' and 'The physics of sport'.
