Monash people at the Games

Among the millennium's Olympic hopefuls are several Monash graduates, students and staff.

Road cyclist Ms Anna Wilson, a graduate with science and law degrees from Monash, is being touted as Australia's best chance at a gold medal for individual cycling at the Sydney Games.

She is currently ranked number two in the world (previously ranked number one), and will be participating in her second Olympic competition.

Current Monash student Mr Brook Quinn is a member of the Australian wheelchair basketball team which won the gold medal at the last Paralympics. His team hopes to replicate their success in Sydney.
