  • Symposium on Pakistan

The Monash-based National Centre for South Asian Studies is hosting a symposium on modern Pakistan from 16 to 17 October.

The symposium, to be launched by deputy vice-chancellor (Research) Professor Peter Darvall, features experts in various fields from both Pakistan and Australia, including in politics, commerce, media, law and economics.

The event will include a public policy forum on 'Pakistan: The business environment' at the Windsor Hotel on the first day, and a workshop on 'The economic fundamentals' at the Monash Conference Centre in Collins Street on the second day.

  • HEPCIT forum

Monash staff are invited to attend the third HEPCIT forum for second semester in R7 (Rotunda) lecture theatre, on Friday 13 October at 1 pm.

The forum includes two case studies featuring online learning activities in two different contexts in professional development.

Presentations will be made by Dr Len Webster from CHED and Faculty of Law senior lecturer Ms Pam O'Connor.
